The value of Charity
Late last year, our founder Phil Frengs attended a special event: a night at the Skirball Cultural Center in West Los Angeles.
The speakers were two authors who know Phil well and have been involved in Racing to End Alzheimer’s since its inception. Josh Freeman (creative director of the Foundation) and Paul Small (former social media director of r2endalz) are cousins who have published a book about eight core human values, called A Festival of Light.
This particular evening, the authors’ talk was on Charity, exploring ideas and experiences with the audience, as well as signing copies of the book. Paul took the initiative. Josh chimed in. And Phil responded in his heartfelt style. Take a look.
