My dad was diagnosed in 2016 and today is in the later stages of this horrific disease.  He was still running his own drywall business at the age of 73 when I had to convince him to shut it down due to dementia.

He is the hardest-working man I have ever know and the greatest dad. He served as a Deacon at Landover Hills Baptist Church for over 30 years, and loves listening to music.

This past year I had to move my parents out of their home to AL/Memory Care so that he could receive the proper care needed. My parents just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Valentine’s Day.

I am honored as his daughter to be his caregiver/provider and cherish each day he has left with us.
