Robert Kelley, Champion

What is a Champion?

In racing, it’s someone who overcomes all obstacles to reach the winner’s podium. But in life, it’s someone who, with love and encouragement, champions us through adversity, helping us overcome our obstacles and become our best.

The Racing to End Alzheimer’s Wall of Champions is a way to honor someone who made a difference in your life. When you add your loved one’s name to the wall, their story will be seen by people around the world. A fitting way to remember someone who championed you. And once a week, we will be featuring one of our honorees here on our website and as the public face of our community.

Robert Kelley from Ventura, CA.

“Robert Kelley is a retired dentist who previously enjoyed fishing, skiing and playing golf. He has a great sense of humor, just like his mother, Hazel, who passed away from Alzheimer’s. Bob is easy going and enjoys time with his dog, Lulu. He is battling the disease at home with his wife Ellen as his caretaker. His five children cherish the time they still have with him.”

The Racing to End Alzheimer’s Wall of Champions transcends the racing season. For a contribution of $25, you can honor your Champion and let others remember them more vividly. But the best part is your donation is matched by our Corporate Sponsor, Legistics so your $25 becomes $50, of which 100% goes towards funding the care and funding the cure for Alzheimer’s disease.
