A Promising New Partnership:
Hardpoint and Racing to End Alzheimer’s

After an eventful offseason, Racing to End Alzheimer’s returned to the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series in March with an exciting new team and a brand-new ride. For the rest of the 2022 season, Hardpoint Racing’s powerful No. 22 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport will display Racing to End Alzheimer’s beloved name-clad livery – along with all of the drive, passion and intensity of our shared mission to win hearts, minds and races.

Given Hardpoint’s professional and hard-charging reputation, it would be hard not to be pumped up about this partnership. Started in 2018 by Rob Ferriol, Hardpoint quickly established itself as one of the premier Porsche teams in the professional racing circuit. In addition to winning a championship at the 2021 Porsche Carrera Cup North America Pro-Am, Hardpoint consistently competes at a high level in the IMSA WeatherTech Sports Car Championship with their No. 99 GridRival Porsche 911 GT3 R.

As driver Nick Galante put it, “In the past, when I saw a Hardpoint team out on the track, I knew I was in for a tough race. Now, I get to hit the starting line with the Hardpoint team in my corner. It’s a pretty incredible feeling.”

In Synch and On Track

For Hardpoint, this partnership represents a return to the Michelin Pilot Challenge after an abbreviated 2020 campaign. Hopes are high for 2022, as Nick Galante and new co-driver Sean McAlister bring a promising combination of experience and talent to the grid. Each driver has an extensive resume, complete with championships and piloting successes at various levels. (Nick’s 2016 Michelin Pilot Challenge championship win was at the wheel of a Porsche Cayman.)

Just as important as the developing chemistry on the track, Hardpoint is on the same page when it comes to the Racing to End Alzheimer’s mission. As always, we will continue to add names to our purple livery throughout the season, honoring our loves ones the best way we know how: by burning rubber. Our new partners add tremendous energy and value to our efforts – and we’re looking forward to tearing down the track together toward a brighter future.

We’ll keep you posted!
